Some love stories just click from the very beginning, and for Aimee and Mike, it all started with a simple swipe. The two met on Hinge five years ago and spent some time getting to know each other over text before heading out on their first date at La Lupa in North Haven, Connecticut. What began as a casual night out quickly turned into something more, with more dates following and their relationship naturally growing from there. Not long after they made things official, life aligned in a way that made their connection even stronger. Aimee received a job offer in the city where Mike lived, making it easier for them to spend time together during the week while she was still living at home in Shelton. About three years into their relationship, they took the next big step and moved in together, beginning renovations on Mike’s grandparents’ home to truly make it their own.
